• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  5.1.1 compatibility

  Hi all,

  Is it possible to open an project file from a system running 5.1.1 on a system running 5.0.4? I have tried to open it and had no luck so I am assuming that it’s not backwards compatible. Or does anyone out there have a magic workround?

  Nope. You need to export an XML of your cut to then import into FCP 5.0.4.
