    Hi All,

I’m trying to export an hour long HD 1080i60 sequence to a Quicktime. It’s already rendered and it’s taking about 30 hours to export. I’ve left the settings at the default using the H.264 codec… there must be a faster way. Can anyone help me?

    Many Thanks,
    Suzanne

[Suzanne] “I’ve left the settings at the default using the H.264 codec…”

The default, and much quicker too, is actually to export a QT using “same settings” as your timeline, H.264 from the timeline is a reencode of every clip on the timeline, and therefore quite time consuming. What exactly is your objective for this export?

We want to make sure our episode is not only media managed, but also has a full stand alone version for future reference or whatever we may need it for… Thanks for the help, I’m staying away from the H.264
