I have digitised Varicam footage shot at 50fps for slow motion. I foolishly went into Cinema Tools and conformed it to 25 fps. This resulted in a duplicate frame every five frames. I know I should have used the Panasonic plug in to convert this footage – but I thought I was being clever, discovering a new way to slow the varicam footage.
Anyway, is there anyway that one can ‘undo’ a Cinema Tools conform so that the quicktime file is reset back to being a DVCpro file?

Once you conform it, it is conformed. No going back. Best to capture the clip again so that you have it slow motion and regular speed.

Thanks. I suspected that would be the case. Since I don’t own a DVCpro vtr, I’ll just cut out the dupe frame every five frames.
