exporting trough Compressor
Posted by Mihail Angelov on July 17, 2006 at 3:09 pmHi guys
I’m trying to export my DV timeline in FCP 5.0.4 using Compressor but when I hit SUBMIT button in comressor it says “Canot submit batch, unable to connect to background process”, I’m trying to with “Reset background process” but nothing changed, any idea where might be the problem?

July 17, 2006 at 3:54 pmIf you Google those phrases in quotes, you’ll find some complicated instructions on other Mac forums. But here’s what I found:
1) Download and install an app called OnyX.
2) Use it to perform maintenance on your computer, repairing permissions and so on. I just left the default boxes checked under “maintenance”.
3) Restart.
4) Use Compressor again. It worked for me, hope it works for you.

By the way, I had traveled your beautiful country from border to border. A beautiful country with great people. It was during the time of communist rule.
