  Saving preferences

  Hi,
  Is there a way in FCP (I’m running FCP 5.1.1) to save all the preferences set in the user pref, audio and visual setting, and system settings and then switching to another set of preferences without forgetting them.
  What I mean is that we have a day shift working on one set of preferences/settings and a night shift working on other projects with different settings. Is there a way to switch from one set of settings to another without having to change every little thing every time you switch projects? Is there a way to save them as a set?

  If you create a different user (system preferences – accounts) you can each log on with a different ID, and have your own set of preferences for Final Cut Pro.

  You just have to make sure that each of you has access to the same media.
