  spinning wheel when i open FCP

  a blank viewer, canvas, and bin will show. then a spinning wheel, what steps should i take to get this system up and running agian?

  this is a secondary system G4 quicksliver/1.5 ram/FCP4.5

  Use the v4 version.

  Does this happen when you dbl click a project file too?
