When i make freeze frames over a 3 layer video track and track one has a Sepia effect on it, the freezed frame doesnt contain the effect.

I’m not sure whether other effects would do the same, but i need this urgently…

at the moment, i resolved to export a frame using QT conversion.

    thanks…

    Howie,

I’m not at all certain I have a clue what you’re saying, but I’ll hazard a guess that you’ve tried to make a freeze frame from a clip in your sequence that had a sepia tint applied, and you’re wondering why the freeze frame isn’t sepia like the clip. Is this correct? If thbis is correct, then copy the sepia clip and paste the attributes to the freeze frame. If I haven’t deciphered your post correctly please be a bit more clear with your question.

What version of FCP are you using? I remember this as a bug in an older version. I can’t reproduce it in the current version. Exporting the frame would be the only way around it.

    All the best,

    Tom
