  Canvas only showing black

  My canvas screen is only showing black whenever I playback – it’s “playing” as in I can hear the audio, and all the clips come up fine when I watch them in the viewer, but the canvas isn’t showing anything…help?

  Click on the Canvas and Type W once. I think you may be in Wireframe mode.

  not sure if this is too late, but it could be your Video Playback is on external mode…

  check your Audio Video settings. and turn off External Video [ON] (apple-F12) default
