  quietest external SATA setup

  I’m on a job and we are using a Macgurus burly box SATA enclosure and its pretty darn quiet. Its a 4 bay enclosure. I’m now looking at 8+ bay enclosure and wondering which is the quietest. Does anyone have any experience with these larger enclosures?

  There are enclosures that have no fans. They’re just large heatsinks. Completely silent.
