Importing dvd footage
Anyone know how to import footage from a dvd into FCP? The footage is on hard drive and when importing to FCP, only the video is available. Is the audio format not recognized? How do i import both video AND audio?

What happens if I bring a signal via firewire out of a DVD recorder deck into FCP? Do I have to use a third-party conversion of some kind? Could I stream the signal thru a camcorder?
