  OT: Beta play deck, how to see HOURS used?

  (Please forgive OT post, moderators please delete if not appropriate) Can anyone please tell me the menu commands to show the total head hours used on a SONY J-1 BetaSP play deck? Thank you.

  To display the digital hour meter
  Press the SET/MENU button while holding down the SHIFT button, then turn the JOG/SHUTTLE dial to display the required item in the time data display.
