  • Problems making 3D photo fit on 3×8 bookmark

I don’t believe this is a commonly-asked question, so here goes:

I don’t have problems opening a picture into Photoshop CS6. In fact, I have recently learned a new skill for me: making an egret in the beginning of its flight pattern look as though it is flying out of a photograph! Thanks to a tutorial I saw, it looks pretty good.

My problem is that I need to put that project onto the face of a 3×8 bookmark, but can’t figure out how to do that. I clicked Select, clicked All, pressed CTRL C for the egret; on the bookmark page, I pressed CTRL V to paste, but got nothing. Also, I attempted to go to File/Open/egret project; it imports it as a new document but not into the document with the bookmark. Can I make this work? Thanks ever so much for your help.
