  Help with XLH1 HDV footage

  Since apparently there is no HDV VTR that will playback a XLH1 1080i (24F) image other than the camera–so I’m told after frustratingly looking for options–would the MacroSystem HDV Recorder offer an answer? After searching online for a VTR that will work with my HDV footage off of my XLH1 (and since Canon isn’t making a VTR I’ve been told) would this be the best deck to use since they state that their deck DOES read the XLH1’s video?
