Audio won’t play in Final cut but will in quicktime!
I recently captured some footage that I shot this last weekend and am having problems getting any audio levels when I import the files into final cut. When I open the files in the capture scratch folder with quicktime, the audio and video both play. When I drag the files into the timeline the video plays fine but there is absolutely no audio. There is no visible waveform for the audio. Looking at the properties of the files it says that the audio is in Mono Mix. Is this my problem?? If so how do I correct this? Any help would be much appreciated.
