Hey Guys, I applied the shatter effect to a layer in AE 7 and everything looks great. I export a quicktime movie to the desktop, open it in my quicktime player, and everything still looks great. However, when I import the quicktime movie into FCP HD and play it back, a couple of frames repeat themselves, making it look like the explosion is hiccupping. That’s the best way I can describe it. Any idea why it would be doing this, or what settings may be faulty? Thanks.

what kind of quicktime are you making? Sounds like it would need an alpha to key over another source.
They should be animation codec, w/alpha straight. I’ve never seen a problem like that with renders from AE.
Sounds like possibly a codec issue.
