  Advice on my next capture card

  I’m looking for a little advice. It’s time to look at a new capture card and a G5 for our fcp setup. I’ve got an Aurora Igniter RT in a dual 1.25 G4. I’m not sure that I want to go with an Aurora Pipe because of the limitations of PCI-X and Standard Def. I’m not doing HD now, but can imagine it in the very near future. The Multibridge pro or Extreme look interesting to me. Any recommendations?

  Get the one that costs the most and looks like it will satisfy your input needs for at least three years. If you don’t know what your input needs will be in two years, don’t buy a new card.
