  • AE doesn’t recognize RAM in PC?

Posted by Eric Goldstein on December 1, 2006 at 4:51 pm

    Hi,

I’m running AE 6.5 on a PC with 4 Gig of RAM. I’ve enabled the PC to utilize all the RAM and it recognizes it.
But, in preferences, AE only shows 2 Gig of RAM. Does anyone know how to get AE to see the rest of the RAM?

    Thanks,

    Eric

This has been discussed a lot. AE will not use more than 3GB and you need to enable the /3GB switch in Windows XP. Search the forum.
