  Insert Edit Issues with DSR-1500

  I’m running into problems trying to insert edit to nearly completed movies that I want to change credits on. I’m using a DSR-1500 via firewire and a Keyspan adapter for control.
  When I go to preview it shows what’s on the tape not the changes that I want to put on the tape. When I mark an in, it jogs past the point.
  I know this worked before in previous verions of Final Cut. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  What version are you running? I have an Aurora Pipe card with RS422 from the card to deck and make frame accurate inserts all the time.

  I am not running 5.1 yet, however.
