low profile doc seeks audio advice
Shooting a guerilla style documentary in about a month. Having a soundman is going to be too high profile and is not an option Thinking about recording (8) separate people with (8) separate M-Audio Microtracks. Looking for advice on possible sync solutions for Final Cut. Thinking about putting cameras in free-run timecode, recording a clapped slate at the beginning and then letting the audio recorders do their thing as long as possible. The cameras will be stopping and starting and I didn’t know if anyone had a good syncing solution.
