  Editing at 24p in FCP

  I’ve digitized footage that was shot on miniDV at 24p. I have the AJA Io box where there is a setting to digitize at 24p (23.98). I’ve digitized the footage with this setting yet in my browser my clips say that the video rate is 29.97. I brought my clip into Cinema Tools to convert to 24p but it says the footage is already 24p.

  This is my first time working with 24p and I am totally confused with this. I’ve dug through the FCP manual with no luck. Can anyone help?
