  Paint splatter…transitions/effects

  I am trying to emulate several effects found in the Black Eyed Peas Video – “Like That.” There are repeated times throughout the video where paint effects or splatter effects are used to transition one part of the video into the next. Please explain, if possible, how I can attempt a similar effect/transition.

  Look up the word “splatter” in the search engine. It is there.

  Film them as real footage and use them as mattes.
