HD Titles for Varicam Footage
I shot a short on a Varicam and captured through a 1200A to DVCProHD. I locked picture and now I’m going to upconvert to either HDCam or D5. I’m confused about my titles and I haven’t found anything conclusive on the Cow. What is the best way to make my opening and closing credits? I’m in FCP5 and AE6.5.
Help anyone?

I just make my titles in Photoshop and bring them into FCP. Pretty straightforward.

I use Boris Title 3D and have them off to the right hand side (the left is for the network to super in promos of other shows).
It looks darn good.

Boris 3D is my titler of choice normally. It doesn’t like some of the fonts we use for some shows, so I can’t use it all the time. Excellent tool and probably the most underused tool by FCP editors.
