Selection shortcut?
Is there a shortcut to select or unselect all tracks? Or to lock or unlock all tracks?

By select a track do you mean set a destination track? F6 and the track number for video. F7 and F8 and the track number for a1 and a2. F4 and the track number for video track lock. F5 and the track number for audio track lock.

I see how to do one at a time. Is there a way to lock all or select all. By select I mean the icon next to the lock icon.

For Auto Select:
To Select All Video Tracks – CMD + 0 (num key pad)
To Select All Audio Tracks – OPT + 0For Locks
To Lock All Video Tracks – Shift + F4
To Lock All Audio Tracks – Shift + F5Keyguide is here:

You mean autoselect? The default is they’re all selected. Option clicking on toggle selection for that track and deselect the others. You can press the T key to get the track selection tool, which lets you select the contents on a track. T and shift for multiple tracks. There are tons of shortcuts, and you can roll your own.

I option click on the lock or option click on the track, etc. etc. Usually takes an extra non-option click to also select the one you clicked on. I’m a right clicker for lots of stuff, so taking your hands off the mouse to do the function keys slows me down. Either that or I’m too lazy to learn all those funciton lock / unlock, etc. Your pick.
