Timecode Window
Posted by Peter Price on April 12, 2006 at 10:54 pmDoes anyone know if FCP can display a large timecode window, easily seen by directors/producers? Similar to the timecode window AVID is able to display.
Thanks, Peter.

April 13, 2006 at 3:17 pmOops — fired before looking. Sorry John, didn’t mean to be short with YOU.
However. You can lay the TC generator filter on a nested sequence and it will play fine to the producer monitor. Not sure what AVID has that makes it different… but this will work fine.

April 14, 2006 at 3:25 amThe Avid Timecode window is not for burned in timecode…its a window for the user interface that can be scaled quite large and track lots of info, besides the running sequence timecode. This is what the original poster is looking for and it is not available in FCP. Good feature request.
