  playback issues

  hey guys..this is a brand new thing thats becoming more consistent and rather irritating.

  after editing and rendering, whenever i playback video FCP sits there and the pinwheel appears and then..maybe after an avg of 10-15 seconds, it starts to play the video.
  this never happened before..it was always instant the minute i pressed spacebar..especially with a rendered sequence. plus i’m maxed at RAM with 8GB..so it makes no sense for it to hang like it does..

  i dont know if the decklink could be causing it..
  two weeks ago, i installed the new decklink 5.5 driver and ever since then the decklink never worked! i even went back to 5.4.2 (previous version) and it failed to work either.
  lets just say i ended up reinstalling EVERYTHING fresh. so im running decklink hd 5.4.2 now…and its playing back..but now this new playback problem.
