  trashed preferences & repaired permissions – now receive “dropped frame errors”

  Not 100% sure if is related or not, but I did the above because of some capture issues

  Since then when I have tried to capture (16minute clip which have not been a problem before) it keeps sayaing it has dropped frames at random points.

  I am capturing from SR tape via themultibridge extreme in 10bit 444 mode onto an XRAID directly attached to the FCP.

  Before I did the above I have never had this problem.

  any ideas?

  I have tried reinstalling the black magic 5.41 drivers, switched decks, sourcetapes and starteda new project with no luck…

  I had that happen once, we switched partitions and all was fine, from what we were told the partion we use had corrupt code or something so until we were all done and able to re write the drive we were to use a different partion.

  ugg, that doesn’t sound good – we only have the one raid array that supports HD capture- and there is a heap of shit on it which we can’t get rid off, any other suggestions?
