I am doing color correction on a 670 GB uncompressed HD feature in final cut 5. My client wants to go over the film each day and make new changes, and then see them play, re do them, etc. Each time we render the whole film, it takes 22 hours. And on our RAID, we only have enough free space to have the whole film rendered once.
I do use the render manager, and duplicate sequences so as to only throw away old render files, but is there a quick way to actually find the name of the render file for an individual clip? I can’t find a link to the name of a clip’s render file. And I don’t want to have to open 300 of them individually to match them.
    ?????
    thanks in advance,
