    All,

Out of curiosity, I thought I’d try installing some AE filters on the MBP. I know Apple have said they don’t work, but hey, you never know until you try yourself. I’ve already found one loophole 😉

Well the installer worked OK, but when FCP powers up, you just don’t see the filters in the effects window.
In Motion, first you have to set the folder for third party plugins, then restart the App. Unfortunately Motion crashes at the splash screen so you have to uninstal the filters, restart Motion and then ‘unpoint’ the folder.

This does not apply to filters written with fxscript or plug like Graeme Nattress’s or Martin Baker’s filters – they work fine.

So if anybody was curious like me, now you know!
