i wonder if there are any changes besides it being a universal version? couldn’t find any info…

Probably no changes. Possibly some bugs were fixed. More likely some bugs were introduced.

Nope. You’ll have to upgrade from a previous version or “crossgrade” if you have the current version 5.

Its not really an update. Same complete application, all new code. It would be a huge download.

There’s some cool new stuff including support for Canon XL-H1.
Support for removing pulldown from P2 material in SD and HD (this is sweet).
Fixed the shuttling problem when moving the mouse and/or Wacom tablet (sweet).
Some media manager fixes regarding deleting unused media (always good).
