    Hi,

    Me again…

I can figure out how to get in the title tool and enter my text BUT… How do you get the text into the timeline?

I don’t see anything in the manual. I am also using FCP for AVID editors book but all it says is “drag the clip into the timeline” There is no clip. I can see the text in the window. I can edit the text. etc….

    What gives.

    Thank you

    NORMCO

you should be able to make in and out points on the source window, and hit one of the edit buttons in the middle of the screen to make an edit and put it on your timeline
    hope i helped

    But getting to basics.

It would be wise to simply NOT USE the native Tilter(s) in FCP.

The far-better titles can be made with “Title 3D” from Boris.

“Title 3D” should be one of your title choices in the FCP generators pull-down.

If it isn’t, it was not properly installed originally…

“Title 3D” is INCLUDED with FCP on the original install discs.
