I cut together 5 seperate sequences. Now i want to put them all together in a new seq. when i drop one of the seqs into source side and edit that entire seq onto the timeline they lose their individual cuts and become one big clip (like a submaster). Is their a way to keep the edits inside the new clip? thanks -r

I just open the sequence I want and select all and Cut…then I go to the long sequence and paste it at the end.

    Keeps all the cuts.

Another way of doing this is to drag individual sequences from the browser to the viewer and hit cmd-f9. This inserts the sequence “as is” instead of nesting it. (The “one big clip” is a nested sequence).
