    Hi there,
I’m planning to export the audio from my project to omf for a monday morning protools mix. I’ve never done this before, and I was just curious approximately how long this takes (for all I know it could take anywhere from 5 minutes to 6 hours). This project is HD so I know the pain of long export times.
Anyway, it’s about 20 minutes long and probably will end up having 8-12 audio tracks. There are no effects, there are cross dissolves. I’m just looking for a ballpark number because I really have no idea how long this will take and I want to make sure I budget enough time to do this.

    Thanks!

A 20 minute video with 8-12 tracks (semi-full) should take at most about 5 miutes. It just depends on how full those tracks are.
