  G-raid drive-media offline

  While editing in FCP, my new-G-raid drive has all of a sudden gone offline along with the media. It comes back if i reset the machine. The warning sign on the monitor says “improper device removal” but i haven’t touched anything. any thoughts.

  Swap firewire cables…Run disk first aid on the puppy.
