  Converting Avid Bins to FCP5 Bins

  Hi all,

  I need to setup an Avid Medialog station for producer’s to view and log tapes. We then want to be able to take the Avid bins with the logged tape info and open them in FCP5 for digging and cutting on FCP5. It’s a little complicated setup I know, but it’s the situation. Does anyone know how to convert the Avid bins to FCP5 format for use in FCP5? Thanks for your help in advance.

  Head over to http://www.dharmafilm.com/sebskytools and download sebskytools. We have the same set up here and this program works great. Takes Avid bins to Final Cut batch lists and vice versa.

  Not Avid bins, but ALE files, which can be exported from Avid bins.
