Adding Light to 3-d object
Hi
I’m working w/ AE 7.0
I created a greetings card opening up and revealing a message inside of the card…(and thanks to THE CREATIVE COW for the advice on that project. )
The Card opens up w/ the 3-d box selected. The move is nice and the client is happy w/ it….I’ve been playing around w/ the LIGHT layer but I’m not 100% happy w/ the results. It’s almost acceptable but????
SHould I use the spotlight? parallel? Point? Is there an easy way to do this or is THE LIGHT addition something that takes a lot of playing around with….The problem I’m having is the BLACKness the card gets when the light passes down from the “Top” opening up and settling on the inside of the card…..When the TOP layer folds over (im not sure if I’m explaining this well) I’m getting this black color on the inner wedge the links the 2 layers (top / bottom)….I’m going into work Sunday for several hours to try and hammer this out–playing around with the positioning and so forth….is there any help someone can give me on this? I’m really close here….
THANKS AS ALWAYS!
