  rendering times with Natress standards conversion

  Hi, I have a PAL AVI file that I need to covert to NTSC. I bought Standards Conversion, set up according to directions and everything is fine except it is saying to render a 1 hour clip will take 48 hours!!! on top of the 8 from overnight. Does this sound right or am I doing somehting wrong here?
