  Is there a FCP tool to reduce light beating in footage

  Hi,
  I’m just wrapping up a TVC job at the moment and have just updated my offline edit with the online graded footage. Just did the transfers of my offline edl this morning and did some colour correction on a Da Vinci Telecine system.
  Everything is ready to go except for some heavy light beating from a fill light.
  The colourist said that there was an easy was to fix this in Flame but I can’t afford to fork out any cash for time on a Flame suite.

  Is there a feature or even a plugin I can buy to be able to do this within FCP?

  Material deadline in 24 hours time.
  ouch..

  Steve,

  3way color corrector should help a lot. With it you can do a secondary correction with the limiter.

  In a pinch you can dupe the layer over itself, set the mode to screen, overlay, etc. (experiment) and do color corrections on that and combine with your bottom layer.
