  DV Audio Sync Issue

  So I logged the tape (an hour of mini DV shot on the JVC HDV camera as SD material – we do this show every week). I then batch-captured the material, and it was WAY out of sync. I shrugged my shoulders, rewound the tape, and brought it in as one big 62-minute clip. Starting sub-clipping it, and noticed that the audio was again out of sync. Rebooted….still out of sync, but not as bad.

  Then I went to the firewire drive to look at the QuickTime file. It’s fine… I spot checked interviews at four different location on the tape, and the audio sync is just peachy.

  I’m recapturing the tape one clip at a time to see if it makes a difference.

  Any ideas?
