  problems with print to video in fcp5

  hi

  having huge problems trying to print my project on to my camera. i have a pd150 and a jvc gr707. none of the cameras want to do it and both are dv in/out.
  problem: when trying to print to video, nothing is recorded. it doesn’t matter what mode the camera is in as i have tried both vtr and rec mode. when having the camera in rec mode it starts recording but only black screen, well basically that’s because the lens cap is on. it just records.

  so, why isn’t it working? i have a blank tape in the camera, firewire is set, fcp recognizes the camera. in the print to video menu there is no report of a problem.

  so far i have had to export the project to quicktime, import it in imovie and there export it to camera, there it works perfectly.

  very, very strange, please help me!

  You have to have the camera in VCR mode.
