  varicam footage and FCP

  what do i need to know about shooting in 24P on the varicam and then going to an SD edit. how does the true 24 frame that the varicam records translate when using SD timeline in FCP? I shoot mainly with an SDX 900 and that scans 24P and records to tape at 29.97 so there is no difference in FCP. thoughts?
