Want to get and lurn a 3d application
Hey,
Latetly some customers ask for more 3d in there commercials.
Im not realy into 3d(only 3d in AEF) , but im willing to learn it.
I used to work a little with c4d. But didnt make anything great and didnt like it aswell.
I was wandering what programme is easy to learn and pretty cheap in price.
The meaning is for simple 3d things, simple objects to mix afterwards in after effects.I gess 3d max is to difficult to learn in 1 a 2 weeks.
Any ideas?Im using mac, but have a pc aswell.

Hi,
Have you used Zaxwerks Invigorator? It is a good start of basic 3D in AE.
Alternatively you might want to look into Blender (www.blender.org) since it is a reasonably sophisticated and free 3D animation program.
Maya is very sophisticated, but very hard to learn.
Lightwave seems more intuitive on the surface.
You should go to the various vendor’s web sites and download trial versions to get a feel for how they work.

As Lars said Blender (www.blender.org) is free and people can do great things with it (not me of course). If you have some understanding of 3D apps and you can learn on your own you can’t beat the price.

I trided 3d Proanimator before and it is a fine 3d plug for making text in 3d, but not realy for modeling.
Maya isnt an option, cause i know from mates, it is very hard.
I donwloaded blender. I will try the tutorials and see how things go. Cool thing its free!?Great.More help, tips are welcome.
