  About Graham Jones’s Intelmac workaround for AE7

  Hi, just wondering if anybody could provide some more detail as of how to implement the fixes Graham suggests in his article? (https://www.creativecow.net/articles/jones_graham/AE7_on_Intel_MacPro/index.html)

  As I’m newly converted from XP, my knowledge of OSx tweaking is terribly limited… Thing is, I don’t even see an “run with Rosetta” option on the ae7 program info/prefs, and where do you manage amount of memory allocation for an application?

  Thanks in advance for helping a Mac rookie 🙂

  Hi Frederico,
  AE 7 automatically runs in Rosetta, because Adobe hasn’t updated AE to a universal binary application (yet).
  The memory adjustments Graham Jones was talking about , you can make in the AE preferences (After Effects>Preferences>Memory&Cache)

  Thanks man, that did the trick. Yeah, the switch to mac is great. Just seeing those solid kilos of aluminium under the desk makes it worth it 🙂
