Simple question
Posted by Chris Poisson on February 16, 2006 at 5:22 pmNot urgent, does anyone remember the date of FCP’s very first release? Approximately?
Have a wonderful day.

February 16, 2006 at 6:04 pmThanks Tom,
It’s funny, in my mid 50’s and working on a video for the AZ Alzheimer’s Consortium this week, client asked me today how long I’ve been working on FCP and I couldn’t remember if it was 5 or 6 years!
Have a wonderful day.

So FCP is a Virgo, just like me, maybe that’s why it’s been so good to me!
Have a wonderful day.

February 16, 2006 at 11:19 pmFor some reason I remember April 99 being the starting point for its use. I remember all the lead ups to it with MacroMedia taking three years to develop it under the name Key Grip and then Apple got it, several pix were posted of its interface on some web site and in April it came out. I dont know why I have such a strong memory of this date.
