    Hello,

I just got some footage to edit. It was a 2 camera shoot covering a conference and will be played on TV. One camera shot anamorphic, the other did not. Any suggestions on the best way to handle this? I seem to either end up with one squeezed or one stretched no matter how I try to normalize the footage.

    Thanks,
    Neobe

    Decide which you want.

The WS to be ZOOMED IN (cropping the sides) to match the FS,

or the FS CROPPED (top and bottom) to match the WS.

I’d probably do the latter, but I don’t know how your footage was shot.

ok – so I’ve done something stupid here and am trying to figure a way out…..

I started editing this thing already.

The sequence is anamorphic. I have the anamorphic video on a separate line from the non-anamorphic. The non-anamorphic is ofcourse pillarboxed because it is in a anamorphic sequence. I know how to fix this if I start all over again but I spent a lot of time editing already.

The director would prefer I crop the anamorphic shots. Is there any way to save what I have already done?

    Thanks,
    Neobe
