Transition doesn’t link to clip when dragging?
I haven’t had this problem often, but a coworker of mine just ran into a problem where he would drag his clip that had a cross dissolve on it and no other media attatched (in other words it was a single clip with a fade out. When he would drag one way the cross dissolve would come with the clip and when he would drag to the left the cross dissolve and therefore a portion of the clip that was underneath it would remain behind. I tried making a new sequence and played with some of the my usual settings and copied the clip into the new sequence. For some reason it worked normally then and the transition linked, but I’m not really sure what I changed to fix this. Any ideas what would do this? Is this a preference?
