    Well, audio doesn’t have a “frame rate.” If it’s digital then it is “sampled” so many times per second.

    DV video, for exmaple has 29.97 frames per second but its audio is sampled 48,000 times each second.

    What you need to do is to make a custom project setting in Final Cut where the video frame-rate is what you want it to be and the audio sample rate matches whatever the original footage is.
