• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Qmaster FAILED issue

  I am using a Dual 2.7 and Dual 1.8 to render Final Cut DVD footage. I set up the cluster between the two (via a network). When I try to render the mv2 files Fail with the following message: Failed: HOST (1.8 G5.local) Media Server Application unexpectedly quit.

  Any idea what I am doing wrong??

  Like most distrributed computing products, Qmaster is a cruel joke.
  I believe only two people on Earth have successfully made it work.

  There is a very low-traffic forum for qmaster on apple.com. Unlikely but someone might be able to help you over there.

  Thanks…I did leave messages on the Apple Qmaster forum….Oh ya, I did read the manual..which is why I was confused!!!
