  Frames added on capture

  Has anyone ever had extra frames added during a DVCPRO 50 capture with no handles selected in the capture preset in FCP 5.04?

  A friend seems to be capturing unwanted media and was wondering if there was another setting that he was missing that is allowing FCP to capture frames outside of the capture log he created. It’s not an offset issue, since frames are added on both sides of the capture.

  I believe that he said 36 frames were being added.
