FCP5 with Edit Share
A company I work with is considering shared storage solution and may decide to go with Edit Share. They currently have G5 DP 2gig and a G4 and will add a third system, G5Quad. They estimate 6 terabutes of space is needed to hold several episodes and plan to continue work in SD 8bit, the network they deliver to has no immediate plans to move to HD.
My question is, does anyone work with Edit Share, any thoughts of Edit Share vs Xserve RAID and are they user friendly or do they take lots of administrative attention to keep them running smoothly.
