  after effects borders

  A simple request… what do I do to put a border around an object. For example any mask or any matted object that I want to have a controllable pixel width border? So far I’ve been using the matt choker on another layer… gotta be easier than this! Thanx!

  Try Stroke.

  Good old Vegas effect. If that doesn’t serve, use Auto Trace and apply a Stroke effect.

  There was a thread about this a little while back, and I think vegas won out.
